Mission & Philosophy
American goods, real wood, honest value.
Our mission is to bring American homes American goods at a reasonable value. As a Native Floridian with over 100 years of down-home history, we also aim to show pride in our home. Many of the items we provide will be made from locally sourced wood and environmentally native species — we love Florida and want to share that love with you. Lastly, we seek to support our community: we know times get hard and with hard times come hard decisions. If it's within our power, reach out and let us serve you; we're always willing to discuss other options.
We aim to influence the next generation of builders, fabricators, and innovators — not to simply rely on what's in stock, but to learn how to create something out of nothing. Sometimes to have a desk you have to learn to run a saw. It's our opinion that the modern market is over-saturated with mass-produced, semi-functioning, impossible-to-fix products that force consumers to keep buying and replacing. Our perspective is that people want the opportunity to fix their own belongings before having to replace them — and that those belongings should be dependable.
Our philosophy is function over form. While we strive to perfect our craft and deliver quality products, we also design for the modern citizen: pieces that are repairable and built from easily acquirable materials. As we evolve, we'll offer blueprints for our products to customers with a "can do" attitude — because at the end of the day, we want to help our community, not just participate in its market.
